Yesterday rescue workers rushed to Doi Tao District following reports of flash floods in the afternoon.
According to reports some areas in Doi Tao Tai saw water levels rise to 4.20 metres, critical levels when compared to the set standard of 3.80 metres for official danger levels.
Alarms have been raised in the area and authorities are keeping a close eye on developments.
