CityNews — Photos of a crocodile appeared on social media, with a caption announcing that it was captured at Ban Huay Sai, San Kamphaeng. According to the post, Samer Pingboon, 46, went fishing on September 20th at a rice field in her village and surprised herself when she caught a 60cm baby crocodile.
It is assumed that the crocodile, which is not native to our northern mountains, strayed from one of the three farms nearby during recent floods. The village headman has issued a warning to villagers asking them to avoid taking a plunge, or dipping their feet, in the streams and ponds nearby.
