Chaiprakarn District has stepped up its border patrol in efforts to stem the arrival of illegal immigrants from Myanmar who could potentially be carrying the coronavirus.
So far they have yet to find anyone illegal, but say that they will step up patrols and have urged all villagers to keep an eye out for those crossing into Thailand illegally.
