Wat Sawang Bantoeng, Mae Sa, Mae Rim. Charoenrit Sanguansat, the Governor of Chiang Mai paid respects at the funeral of community volunteer Khanti Wattaya, 31 who died of a heart attack while volunteering to help build weirs on the 3rd May 2020.
The governor also gave the widow of Khanti a cheque for 50,000 baht in appreciation of her husband’s community spirit.
