CityNews – A blog (page now down) which showed a Chinese tourist dressed up in a Thai university uniform while kissing her apparent boyfriend has been condemned by Thai netizens.
The tourists were shot hanging out at Lang Mor (the lake in Chiang Mai University close to the English and Mass Communication departments) looking “sexy” while cuddling and kissing. While such a scene might seem harmless to most people, Thai netizens wrote on various social media sites that they were outraged at what they deemed inappropriate behaviour.
Many of the comments on the blog expressed that Chinese people do not understand Thai culture and that they should ‘go home’ if they want to display this kind of behaviour.
