CityNews – Chiang Mai Guide Association demands legal action to combat illegal guides.
On March 18th, the Chiang Mai Guide Association, along with the Care Lanna Guide Community released a public announcement concerning illegal guides in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. The association stated there are currently 20 persons operating illegally with the number likely to grow. The announcement demanded authorities to take action and requested tour agencies ban these guides.
