CityNews – A British man has died after falling from a condominium balcony in what police to be a suicide in Chang Phueak this weekend.
Around midnight on May 28th, police responded to a report that a man has jumped from a condominium balcony on Huay Kaew Road, Chang Phueak. Police arrived with a rescue team who pronounce the man dead upon their arrival. The man was identified as Phil Edward Miller, 57, from Liverpool, United Kingdom.
The condo’s superintendent reported that Miller has been a residence for several months. After examining the decease room, police found a journal that recorded struggles in his life. Police have contacted the UK embassy who has contacted his family.
