Last week, parents of children enrolled at the school went en masse to protest against an ambiguous ‘education management’ fee of 3,100 baht.

On Tuesday morning, June 2, parents gathered at the school again in an attempt to get a formal response from the director, Sayan Kunthiya, and to ask him to step down.

By 11am, the director had still not made an appearance despite being on the school grounds.

Parents then went to Chiang Mai City Hall to file a complaint to the provincial governor.

Navin Sindhusa-ard, Chiang Mai Provincial Governor, accepted the complaint and, together with the parents, filed the complaint to the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) who assured that the complaint would be looked into and justice would be served accordingly.
