On the night of the 5th May, an accident occurred on the Chiang Mai-Phrao road between a truck and a car. A man and a woman, aged around 27 years, were trapped in the car until rescue workers arrived. The 48 year old truck driver was uninjured.
According to police the truck was driving very fast and was attempting to change lanes when the car in front braked suddenly.
