Yesterday Fang police raided a temple and arrested its 30 year old abbot on charges of drug dealing.
On searching his guti, police found 11 ya ba pills, one pack of marijuana and drugs paraphanalia.
Police were alerted to the abbot by a concerned citizen who said that there were rumours of his drug habits and also suspicious toings and froings in and out of the temple at odd hours. It was also noted that he would often have teenagers visit him in his guti late into the night.
Upon the discovery of the drugs the abbot confessed to the police that they were indeed his.
