CityNews – Sansai police discovered the body of a 35-year-old woman in a two storey house in Laguna Home Phase 5 of Sansai’s Sansai sub-district, Chiang Mai, yesterday morning, May 12th.
The woman, later identified as Mong Nakam of Chaiprakarn district was found inside a locked room and had hung herself with a rope. The police used a key provided by the owners of the house to gain access to the room after the house owners informed police that Mong had not answered the door or emerged from the room for some time.
No foul play is suspected in her death, and there were no reports of stolen belongings.
According to the owners of the house, Mong repeatedly expressed that she was frustrated by not having time to raise her 11-year-old daughter who also stays in the house. She appeared stressed, and expressed that she was worried that her daughter was disobedient due to Mong’s lack of time to raise her.
The investigation is ongoing.
