CityNews – On 10th August 2013 at 5 a.m., Chai Prakarn police and soldiers arrested Chiwatad Phirawattanamedavi (19) with 16,000 amphetamine pills.
Police stopped a Fang–Chiang Mai bus to inspect it, whereupon they noticed a man acting suspicious. When they checked his bags they discovered the pills.
The man told police that the drugs belonged to a man in Chiang Mai prison. He said he had been paid 6,000 baht to deliver the drugs to a connection in Chiang Mai.
