Sangduen “Lek” Chailert, chair of the Chiang Mai-based Save Elephant Foundation, discovered that humans are not the only animal to appreciate the soothing effects of a lullaby, over a decade ago- and has been using her canorous charms to subdue the sizable ellies ever since.
The scenes depict the soulful songstress singing a Thai lullaby to a traumatised elephant, lulling it to sleep. The elephant whisperer convinces the rescued animal to lie down for a nap, and you can even hear it start to snore!
