CityNews – A tourist fell from a cliff at Pai Canyon, luckily surviving with minor injuries.
A female tourist has fallen from a cliff at Pai Canyon in Kong Lan. She reportedly fell around 5pm and rescue teams were immediately called. Around 5.30 the teams arrived and the tourist was lifted to safety. She had suffered minor injuries and was checked by medical staff.
According to authorities, the woman fell after part of the cliff came loose due to erosion, causing her to fall around 10 metres. Visitors are advised to be careful when visiting the canyon and to keep away from the edge.
