Secretary-General of the Office of the Judiciary Phattarasak Vannasawng presided over the opening ceremony on Wednesday, the National News Bureau of Thailand reported.
The tourist division’s main mission is to advise and help tourists through a prosecution, and to support those who need to travel back to their country by arranging an investigation in advance then authorising a nominee, it said.
The tourist division is the sixth of its kind in Thailand.
