Super Full Moon on Feb 19th

CityNews – Makha Bucha Day will see the moon closest to earth this year.

The National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) has revealed that this year’s full moon will be closest to earth on February 19th which is also Makha Bucha Day, an important day on the Buddhist calendar. The full moon is estimated to close the distance to 356,836 km from earth and will appear 7% larger than normal. The super full moon will be also be 16% brighter.
