Police Catch Three Men Taking Drugs at Doi Suthep Waterfall

CityNews – On Wednesday, 4th June, at 9 a.m. the police from Phuping Chiang Mai Police Station arrested three drug dealers and robbers. One of them was evading an arrest warrant and two others had just been released from prison.

The police arrested them shortly after they discovered them taking methamphetamines at Wangbuaban Waterfall at Doi Suthep. They all confessed to consuming an illegal substance. The three accused men are Nat Namthong (20), Panupong Jureun (20), and Charoensak Maneechai (28).

In 2006, Nat was found to have stolen property in his residence, and he was detained at a detention centre for four years. After he was released in 2010, he committed a robbery and was imprisoned for another four years. Now in 2014 he was suspected of committing a robbery again and he was avoiding the arrest warrant.

Nat and his friends, Panupong and Charoensak, were charged with possession of methamphetamine.
