CityNews – A pick-up truck crashed into the side of a 7-Eleven and a neighbouring store close to Lanna Hospital at 3am on Sunday.

The driver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be cut out by rescue workers, but was not severely injured. Nobody else was hurt, including 7-Eleven staff, reports said.
The pick-up also collided with an electricity pylon, which caused a power cut in the area, resulting in rescue teams having to work in the dark. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
