CityNews – On 9th June at 10 am, Wichian Mekdee, an investigator of Saiyoi Police Station, received a call that three family members died from consuming insecticide mixed into a soft drink at their home.
Police found three dead bodies, the father, mother and child, indentified Chayathorn Wimuktanon (47), Mathurada (34) and Thamolwan (12), lying prone on the floor. It was reported that they died more than six hours before being discovered.
Discovered at the scene was a big soft-drink bottle and three glasses and a strong smell of insecticide everywhere. The bodies and other evidence were sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Buddhachinaraj Hospital for testing.
The police believe that the family may have committed suicide, as they were more than two million baht in debt.
