Payap University launches Marijuana Sciences post grad

Payap University announced today that it will be offering post graduate degrees (masters and PhD) in marijuana sciences and local herbs and spices development, being the first university to offer this kind of subject in the Kingdom.
The course has already been approved by the university council and the degrees will cover the agronomy and ecosystem surrounding these plants. The degrees aims to attract researchers, farmers, innovators, government officials and anyone else interested in this area.
To date, 20 students have applied for the masters degree and nine for the doctorate, most of whom are business owners wanting to understand the subject deeply. The first class will begin in July, with the masters taking two years and costing 170,000 baht and the doctorate requiring three years and costing half a million baht.
