Gorals are an endangered Asian mammal species that resemble goats or antelopes, and are mostly gone from their natural habitats in Thaiand.

A mother goral, three-year-old Niraporn, recently gave birth to a baby male thanks to a successful natural breeding programme, the National News Bureau of Thailand reported.

The Night Safari now has 21 gorals in total. Thai citizens are also invited to name the Night Safari’s new resident when it is unveiled on Mother’s Day, August 12.
