CityNews – The pro-nationalist newspaper ASTV manager recently published a ‘satire’ article graphically describing the gang-rape of a transgender activist and a former politician who currently have warrants out for their arrest.Image from Khaosod.co.thThe military junta currently has an arrest warrant out for Aum Neko, a well-known LGBT activist studying at Thammasat University, and Jakrapob Penkair, a former politician and leader of an anti-coup group.
The pro-monarchy newspaper described in their ‘parody’ article how the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) will send the two fugitives to prison to “return happiness” to the male inmates.
Aum and Jakrapob “will be bestowed to the inmates so they can provide intimate, wet happiness, with thrusts reaching up to their intestines,” said the parody article.
According to Prachathai, the article also quoted a fictitious inmate who, whilst masturbating, said: “Whenever I see nong [sister] Saran, or Aum Neko, I always feel aroused. Judging from her behaviour, I think she has a lot of weird and difficult sex positions. I will try to be the first in the line to have sex with her.”
Aum Neko has established her name through her campaigns that support a greater freedom of expression and the legalization of sex work. She recently started a controversial crusade against the regressiveness and heteronormativity of college uniforms by distributing posters of students having sex in their uniforms around campus.
