CityNews – Two sisters, ages 10 and 6, are still missing after a divorce and a custody dispute between their mother and father.

Though the girls went missing in Pattaya at the beginning of this month, it is believed they may now be in Phuket. There are now requests for any information about the two girls that went missing. It is believed that their disappearance is a kidnapping by their Thai mother after their father had won custody years before.
The aunt of two young girls, Charlotte Day, has been caught up in the search for her nieces. She is requesting that anyone who has seen the two girls contact her or the Thai police immediately.
The parents, Onwarat “Noklek” Gamlem and Robert Day divorced four years ago. The father was awarded custody of the two girls, 10 year old Alina and 6 year old Ananya also called “Annie.”
Day and the two daughters moved to England after the custody decision. The girls maintained communication with their mother by internet. And then this last May, Day took the daughters from England to Pattaya to spend a few days with their mother. The mother, Noklek, never returned with the children, and on June 1 a missing persons report was made with Pattaya Police and an arrest warrant was issued for Noklek on charges of abduction.
Pattaya police went to Noklek’s home, but found no one there.
Noklek may not only be with the two girls, but also with her three-year-old son by a new husband, a Norwegian fisherman who departed from Thailand for work before the girls came to Thailand
Their aunt, Charlotte Day, says there is a possibility the mother and the two girls are in Phuket, and requests anyone with information regarding their whereabouts contact her immediately.
Interpol is now involved in the case.
