CityNews – Midday on July 2nd, police were called to a scene at an apartment building in the Chang Peauk area, Chiang Mai, where they discovered two bodies, one female and one male, in a fourth floor room after calls were made following sounds of an argument.
A young girl named Miss Pimploy Saenton (20) was found on the floor of the apartment with bruising and scratches around her neck, indicating that she had been strangled to death. The man, Mr Gieatdtisak Gosanla (31), was discovered in the toilet doorway with an electrical cable wrapped around his neck. His body was covered in fresh scratches and bruises, proving a struggle had taken place moments before.
Both the deceased worked at a local restaurant and had been seeing each other for around one year. According to friends, they had often fought with each other and recently Miss Pimploy discovered that she was two months pregnant.
A witness explained how she had tried to visit Miss Pimploy, but when she knocked on the door there was no initial response. After a short time Mr Gieatdtisak opened the door and explained how Miss Pimploy had left a while ago. The witness explained how the situation appeared suspicious and after failing to contact the girl, she immediately called the police. By the time the police arrived, Mr Gieatdtisak had killed himself as well.
Police concluded that after being told that his girlfriend was pregnant, Mr Gieatdtisak attempted to talk with her resulting in another argument that eventually caused him to strangle her to death. He then proceeded to commit suicide leaving a note that read, “Please contact my relatives. I’m sorry to everyone. Farewell.”
เมื่อ 12.30 น. วันที่ 2 กรกฎาคม 57 ตำรวจ สภ.ช้างเผือก เชียงใหม่ รับแจ้งเหตุฆาตกรรม มีผู้เสียชีวิต 2 คน เหตุเกิดภายในห้อง 101 หอพักแห่งหนึ่ง ถนนโพธาราม ซอย 6 ต.ช้างเผือก จึงได้เดินทางไปตรวจสอบเมื่อไปถึง พบศพ น.ส.พิมพ์พลอย แสนทอน อายุ 21 ปี ชาว อ.แม่อาย จ.เชียงใหม่ ทำงานอยู่ร้านอาหารแห่งหนึ่งในสวนหลวง ร.9 นอนเสียชีวิตอยู่ริมเตียงนอนภายในห้องพัก สภาพศพสวมเสื้อยืดสีเทากางเกงขาสั้นสีดำ ถูกบีบคอจนขาดอากาศหายใจ และบริเวณหน้าห้องน้ำภายในห้อง พบศพนายเกียรติศักดิ์ โกสัลละ อายุ 30 ปี ชาว อ.กัลยาณิวัฒนา จ.เชียงใหม่ ทำงานเป็นพนักงานเสิร์ฟร้านอาหารภายในตัวเมือง สภาพศพผู้ตายสวมกางเกงขาสั้น ไม่สวมเสื้อ ใช้ปลั๊กพ่วงผูกติดกับรางผ้าม่าน แขวนคอเสียชีวิต โดยจากการตรวจสอบ พบร่องรอยการต่อสู้ข้าวของกระจาย และพบจดหมายลาตายของฝ่ายชายและขอโทษกับญาติ
จากการสอบสวนเพื่อนของหญิงผู้ตายทราบว่า ก่อนหน้านี้ทั้งสองได้คบหากันเป็นแฟน และได้เลิกรากันไป โดยฝ่ายหญิงได้ตั้งท้องประมาณ 2 เดือน และแฟนหนุ่มรายนี้มักจะมาง้อขอคืนดีและมีเรื่องทะเลาะกันหลายครั้ง โดยวันก่อนเกิดเหตุ ตนได้เดินทางมาหานางสาวพิมพลอยและมีนายเกียรติศักดิ์เป็นคนเปิดประตูให้ แต่มีท่าทางเป็นพิรุธและบอกว่าเพื่อนสาวไม่อยู่ในห้อง ตนพยายามติดต่อทางโทรศัพท์ของเพื่อนก็ติดต่อไม่ได้ เลยเกรงว่าจะมีเหตุร้าย จึงตัดสินใจแจ้งตำรวจเข้าตรวจสอบ จนพบว่าทั้งสองคนเสียชีวิตภายในห้องในเวลาต่อมา เบื้องต้นตำรวจสันนิฐานว่าฝ่ายชายเห็นว่าแฟนสาวท้องจึงพยายามไปพูดคุย จนเกิดเรื่องทะเลาะกันรุนแรงจนบัลดาลโทษะ บีบคอจนเสียชีวิตก่อนที่จะตัดสินใจผูกคอตายตามเพื่อหนีความผิดที่ก่อไว้.
