CityNews – The Government Lottery Office (GLO) has just announced that a total of 42,800 lottery tickets have been lost in the mail on their way to Ayutthaya via the Thailand Post for the July 1 draw.

The GLO is threatening legal actions against anyone who finds the package but does not  immediately return it. The lost tickets have already been cancelled, and the numbers of these tickets have been posted online

Earlier this month, the Junta assigned the GLO to tackle the issue of inflating lottery ticket prices. Lottery tickets officially marked as 80 baht are being sold for 100-110 baht or higher, depending on the ‘luckiness’ of the number.

Yesterday, 19th June, a representative of the junta met with state agencies to deliberate out the issue and find solutions to stop those from scamming on ticket prices.
