Villagers in Mae Faek District of Chiang Mai went into a panic on Tuesday when a two year old boy named Copter was wandering around an orchard with his family when he suddenly disappeared. Dozens of rescue workers and volunteers immediately came to the rescue, spanning out five kilometres to search for the missing toddler. A scuba unit was also deployed to dive into the nearby pond.
Three hours later, and only when the canine unit was brought in from Military Circle 33, that Copter was found quite happily, sitting in a shack in the middle of an orchard about one kilometre away from where he disappeared.
