Lampang Police’s Busy Week of Arrests: Car Thief, Drug Dealer, and Human Traffickers

CityNews  On Wednesday, 4th June, the police officers of Lampang Police Station announced their three separate arrests of traffickers, a car thief and a drug dealer.

Police officers announced their arrests in a human trafficking case, which took place on 4th June around 9 a.m. Pornnarong Pancheun (33), Boonrod Khansantheng (29) and Tubtim Khansantheng were all arrested on suspicion of trafficking six boys and girls into the Lampang market. They made the children, who were aged between 2 12 years old, beg for money in the market, only to take their money away from them later.

The second arrest was also made on 4th June. Pol.Lt.Col Wachirasak Seprasom of Lampang Police Station announced the arrest of Narakorn Mongkol (24), who had an outstanding arrest warrant from the Lampang Court for stealing a vehicle. The police tracked down the Samsung mobile phone he was using, which he had stolen from Waree Weerachat (22) on the night of 13th May. The surveillance camera showed Narakorn’s covered face while he was breaking into a Smile Minimart store, and he was then captured by police shortly afterwards. He is being charged with vehicular larceny.

The third case took place on 3rd June. Pol.Maj. Pratchaya Titsala of Lampang Police Station arrested Adisorn Nantawong (36) who also had an arrest warrant issued by Lampang Court. The police confiscated 240 grams of marijuana, three marijuana bricks with a total weight of 36 grams, 10 guns and 20 bullets. The suspect is now awaiting trial for possession of a Schedule 5 drug and having unlicensed weapons.
