The event will feature guest chefs, organic cuisine and wines, daily cooking demonstrations and more. A six-course gala dinner on October 11 will include an auction to raise funds for Chiang Mai’s School of Life, which supports children in difficult situations and is supported by the hotel.

Chefs taking part include Chef Wan from Malaysia, Tammasak Chootong of the Suay restaurant in Phuket, and 137 Pillars House executive chef Amporn Choeng-Ngam.

“We have created this annual event to highlight the healthy options to our guests and to promote the wide range of organic cuisine that is readily available in Chiang Mai as there’s growing awareness of organic cuisine and its health benefits. At the same time, we’ll support local producers through this effort,” said Manfred Ilg, general manager of 137 Pillars House.

“Apart from enjoying the chefs’ cooking during the festival, guests can learn how to create their own menus through the cooking demonstrations, and take the knowledge home with them to incorporate into their daily lives,” he added.
