Hmong Woman Arrested With 100,000 Yaba Pills

CityNews – Police in Chiang Dao have arrested a Hmong woman in possession of 100,000 yaba pills.
The drugs were stashed in a washing machine in the suspect’s pick-up.

Cholthicha Pitakjareonlap, 28, was stopped at a checkpoint while driving a pick-up truck from Chiang Mai city to her home in Chiang Dao’s Mae Na sub-district.

Officers found the yaba pills hidden in a washing machine in her truck, then searched her house but found no other incriminating evidence.

Cholthicha confessed that she had been hired to transport the drugs for 100,000 baht. Investigations are ongoing.
