CityNews – We recently reported the story of a man who suffered from an epileptic seizure while driving, causing him to ram into a large group of schoolchildren with his car, killing four of them. The Medical Council of Thailand has convened with the Land Transport Department to determine new measures that will address epileptic drivers in light of the recent tragedy that resulted in the death of those four innocent children.
According to the Medical Council of Thailand secretary-general, discussions were centered around enforcing regulations on drivers with epilepsy, heart disease, diabetes, and brain illnesses.
On Wednesday, 11th June, school director Bualam Ngohbuddha entered an epileptic shock whilst driving to the school’s science fair, killing four students and injuring thirteen. Ngohbuddha has been charged with negligent driving resulting in the death of four school children.
