CityNews – At 9 a.m. on 7th June, Chiang Dao Police Station were informed about an accident involving a car which had collided with an elderly woman on the Chiang Mai – Fang road. Both Rescue Teams and Hospital paramedics attended the scene of the crash. 
The bronze Toyota pickup truck was found to have a dent in the front section. The elderly woman, Lha Jankong (75), was lying on the road close to the car, and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation concluded that the driver Prasert Reuoenkam (55) was driving to Chiang Mai when he crashed into the elderly woman. He told the police that he did not see her before he hit her.
