CityNews – At 1.30 p.m. on 10thJune, Col. Yongyut Laoketkan of Phamuang Police Force, along with several additional officers, raided a small house in the jungle in Ampher Maefahluang , Chang Rai province. They exchanged gunshots with drug smugglers, killing one.
After the gunfight in Bann Thatahklang, Amphur Maefahluang, suspected drug dealer Chakorn Patikhwamdee (26), was shot dead in the scene.
Officers seized 2,000 amphetamine pills, 13 sticks of Heroin, 100 grams of Opium, a bomb and gun in his possession. The case is still under investigation.
