Police working with the military arrested four people Chiang Mai Bus Terminal 3 on Monday and seized around 70,000 yaba pills.
Council officer Thanabadee Phamonphongphan, 30, was arrested along with three other men – Chalermchai Pitimongkolkul, 24, of Pai District, Siridech Laoli, 32, of Chiang Dao district, and Singthong Phuwongsa, 29, of Chiang Dao district.
Police seized around 70,000 yaba pills packed in a suitcase and also a bus ticket to Bangkok, a car, a pick-up truck, and seven mobile phones.
