CityNews – 4th March 2020, Kritsada Pukasup, Deputy Director of Chiang Mai International Airport officiated over the opening of the Big and Deep Cleaning Day activity which is part of the airport’s offensive strategy to halt the spreading of COVID-19 virus.
Government offices, airlines, staff, business operators, service providers and all personnel joined in the cleaning activity.
Chiang Mai is one of eight Thai provinces which are being closely monitored for the spread of COVID-19. Airport personnel are also amongst the seventh highest tourism-related personnel in terms of risk of infection. This activity is designed to reassure both staff and visitors that the utmost efforts are being made, say authorities.
