CityNews – Three Chiang Mai restaurants appear in a list of the Top 10 Thai eateries in the country released by travel website TripAdvisor yesterday.
In third place was the popular Dash! restaurant and bar, Cooking Love came in fifth and Lemongrass was seventh, ensuring Chiang Mai had more winners than any other destination.
The Top 10 list was compiled by TripAdvisor based on reviews and ratings by its users. The Bophut restaurant in Koh Samui was ranked the best Thai restaurant in the country.
“According to a recent TripAdvisor survey, 82 per cent of travellers in Southeast Asia said that experiencing authentic local cuisines during their holiday is important or very important,” TripAdvisor spokeswoman Jean Ow-Yeong said.
“When it comes to food, TripAdvisor travellers have reviewed and rated what they think are the best restaurants to enjoy popular local Asian cuisines.”
