CityNews – Chiang Mai is planning to open a third bus terminal.
The Department of Land Transport has announced a plan to develop thae smart bus terminal which will be the third terminal in Chiang Mai. The project is considering an earmarked area between Chiang Mai and Lamphun, near Doi Ti and Saraphi to be the location of the new terminal. The project is part of the 20 years transportation development plan of which there are five other projects slated to be implemented across the region with an estimated budget at 6 billion baht. The project has been proposed to the Bureau of the Budget.
