Chiang Mai remembers the late King Bhumibol

CityNews – On 13th October 2019, at Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre, the governor Charoenrit Sanguansat was the chairman for the ceremony offering alms to 89 monks to commemorate the day the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej passed away.  Members of the public, government officials and visitors joined in the event.

The governor led the long line of people who placed wreaths to demonstrate their love and respect for the late king.

In a separate event at Tha Pae Gate on the night of the 13th, another gathering was held under candle light to honour his majesty.
