Chiang Mai Immigration Inspects Illegal Alien Laborers Homes

CityNews – On the 11th June at 9 am, the Internal Security Operations Command of Chiang Mai Army 33, Chiang Mai City Municipality, alongside the private sector, demolished nine illegal immigrants’ houses in a building located on public land in Tambon Chang Moi, Amphur Muang, Chiang Mai.


These nine houses had no the census registration or property ownership and the immigrants did not have permits to work in Thailand.

The Immigration Bureau, Army 33 and the authorities of Chang Puek Police station investigated the immigrant’s house at Tambon Sri Poom, finding one shotgun, five bullets, three swords, a knuckle-duster and the marijuana hookah; they then arrested 50 illegal alien workers for further investigation.
