Chiang Mai and Yangon Skal Clubs to Twin

CityNews – Chiang Mai’s Skal Club for tourism professionals is to twin with its counterpart in Yangon.

Club members will visit Burma’s former capital later this month for the signing ceremony, which is scheduled for September 19.

At the Skal Chiang Mai and North’s meeting last month, club president Tim McGuire invited members and friends to join the trip. Skal Yangon has organised a special three-day tour programme for the group.

Vice-president Annette Kunigagon said Air Bagan currently has a buy-one-get-one-free deal on tickets to Yangon, and anyone interested in joining the trip should email her at [email protected].

Skal International’s membership is open to top executives in the travel and tourism industry.
