Charity Open Day Promises Fun for All the Family

Ramby’s cultural activity centre is holding a charity open day featuring a range of activities for guests of all ages this Saturday, August 9.

Visitors can find out more about the different projects and courses it runs in music, art, languages and dance, and there will be an exhibition of handicrafts made by members of the We Women Foundation. Proceeds from a tombola will go the foundation, which aims to empower women from ethnic minority areas in Burma.

Activity booths for adults and children will feature art, reike, poi spinning and handmade organic cosmetics. Food and drink will also be available.

Live entertainment will include music, children’s ballet, a singing show and a spectacular fire dance show for the finale, at around 8pm.
