CityNews – A taxi driver got the shock of his life this week (Monday 23rd June) when he discovered some unexpected luggage left by a passenger. It was not an umbrella or a briefcase, but an unidentified corpse.

The driver, Uthai Phetseekaew, reported the incident to police in  Bang Nam Jued  station, that he had picked up a fare on Monday night. A young male, aged 20-25 years, requested to put his baggage in the boot. Obliging, the driver only remembered some time after dropping the man off that this had been ‘forgotten’.

The passenger was delivered to the Samae dam area in the Bang Khun Thien area of Bangkok, after riding in the front seat alongside the cabby. He was reportedly wearing a sleeveless black shirt and white jeans, and had a cut on his face.

After making the gruesome discovery, Uthai attempted to locate the man but failed. He then went to the police station with the body, in a dustbin liner, still in the boot of his car. Police are currently conducting an investigation to identify both the victim and the man who dumped his body.
