CityNews – The Royal British Legion in Chiang Mai is holding a sponsored walk to raise funds.

It will take place on Sunday, October 5 at the Huay Tung Teaw walking track, just off the northern end of Canal Road.

“It is a 5km paved circular track and we suggest that participants undertake one or two circuits,” said the Legion’s Victor Hayes. “We will be arranging for water to be available halfway round the track, as well as a rest point.”

The Royal British Legion helps ex-service personnel and their families, and the Chiang Mai branch is active throughout northern Thailand.

Participants in the sponsored walk should arrive at the track for registration at 8.30am. To take part, email [email protected]. Donations can be made at www.justgiving.com/cmlegionwalk14/
