The floods occurred this morning, around 6.30am, when torrential rains fell on Ban Mae Aor Nai, Mae Na sub district, Chiang Dao. Many houses were both flooded by water, and mud. There was widespread, though not extensive, damage to property.
The water has since receded and authorities and rescue workers are helping to return the village to good condition.
