Chiang Mai residents eligible to enter Kasikorn Securities fourth season of KS Young Turk Investor

CityNews – Kasikorn Securities (KS), which has the second largest share of the brokerage market, hopes to maintain its current position and to accumulate 18,000 new stock trading accounts this year, helped by the launch of the fourth KS Young Turk Investor Contest.

Residents of Chiang Mai are qualified to apply, along with residents of Bangkok, Songkhla (Hat Yai district only), Khon Kaen and Chon Buri.

200 investors will be selected, each receiving 50,000 baht in cash which they will invest in the stock market. They will also take part in a training course led by stock experts, free of charge.

For every province, the top three investors will win cash matching the amount of profit they accumulate from their stock portfolios.

The company, who at present have 36,000 trading accounts, 44% of which are in active trading, is expecting at least 9,000 nationwide applicants this year.

Applicants must be 20 years of age or older, and must be of Thai nationality.
