Saraphi district is incentivising its residents to receive the vaccine between the 9th and 18th of this month by putting up a Honda Wave motorbike as part of a lucky draw prize.
There are also five bicycles, 20 room fans and five rice cookers to give away for those who brave the needle.
To date 9,414 people of the 24,346 eligible, or only 38% of Saraphi residents have registered. Saraphi hospital, however, can only vaccinate 100 people per day, though they are hoping to increase that number in the coming days. There are also vaccination sites across various sub-districts.
