The Chiang Mai Municipality is conducting city-wide research alongside other provincial administrative bodies as to the current demand for vaccinations in an effort to plan for vaccination purchases and plan.
A representative of the municipality said that the aim of this is to help aid the government vaccination efforts.
Chiang Mai municipality has 127,000 registered residents, as of 2019’s census. Initial findings are that a number of residents are not comfortable taking the Sinovac vaccination and are currently holding but for other brands.
