Kong Hoh village in Pong Yang has been ordered to close its local community market for the next fortnight as fears of the virus spreading in the area mount. There is also strict control in this, as well as many other villages in the area, of people coming in and out of the village. Only essential travel is permitted.
Villagers are asked to avoid groups and to be as self contained as possible.
