Citylife magazine to stop print BUT full steam online!

CityNews – 23rd March 2020, Citylife magazine is distributed to hotels, restaurants, bars, shopping centres, schools and many other businesses around Chiang Mai. The current situation means that nobody is going to see it.

Therefore, for the first time in 28 years, we will not be printing the magazine this month and will review our print business as we move into April, May and beyond.

We will, however, step up on our online reporting, continuing to add content to our web site which has been running since 1998, as we know how important information is during these critical days. Our readers will be able to access our content through our online channels including:

CityNews (https://www.chiangmaicitylife.com/citynews) will still post fact-checked news because it is important that we all get the right information. Citylife is also working with the COVID Foreign Community Support Group (Chiang Mai), providing information to the English speaking population of Chiang Mai via our own channels as well as the Facebook group Chiang Mai Health & Safety News.

We will be launching our new website within the next month and will have even more content for you to explore, and entertain yourselves with, especially if we are still locked up!

Despite the current situation Citylife intends to remain the main resource of English language news, entertainment and information for residents in the north of Thailand and we appreciate your support and feedback. Our media has every intention of moving forward, even if it is with small steps, for now.

Finally, to those people who have supported us by subscribing to the magazines, we will be contacting you directly with regard to this decision.

Thank you all and please stay safe!
