CityNews – 31st March 2020, Saichol Supmakudom, head of public relations at Advanced Info Service (AIS) said, “As a Digital Life Service Provider with a main aim of supporting Thailand’s digital infrastructure, especially during critical times such as these, AIS intends to help support the government’s social distancing decree so that our students can better continue their studies at home.”
“We are therefore proud to work with the Digital Council of Thailand to support Thai education through the Student SIM Card package which is affordable and designed for students’ home learning convenience. Through each educational institute’s platform, the Student SIM Card can be topped up and used at unlimited capacity at a speed of 4Mbps for only 400 baht per month for three months from the time of first use. The service is open as of the 3rd April onwards.”
Students can contact any AIS Shop or AIS Buddy for a free SIM Card. Simply show their student ID to proceed. Educational institutions are also invited to work with AIS on special packages for students or staff. Simply call AIS Call Center 1149.
