Hippie Sister

Hippie Sister is a new brand of hippie style clothing that is modern, stylish and custom made. There is a large number of vintage clothes stocked, which cover a range of styles from hippie chic to boho swag. In addition to the vintage collection is a whole selection of handmade clothing, made by the owners themselves. Dresses, tie-dye, flares, colourful hot pants, they have it all. If you want anything custom made, just ask! In addition to hippie style clothing, there is a great collection of bags, shoes and accessories that match perfectly with a range of styles from hippie chic (obviously) to more modern-vintage fusion styles. This place is a perfect go to shop for anyone with a party or festival coming up where rainbow is the dress code.

It’s a Shoe Thing

It’s A Shoe Thing is one of the first brands in Chiang Mai to make handmade vegan shoes. Each pair is made without any animal products or by products like animal glue. The owner, Pooja Kothari Mehta being Jain by religion, has never used any animal products herself. She is also planning to launch clutches and bags later this year. She personally selects and inspects all the fabrics and then the patterns are drafted after which the skilled craftsmen create their magic. Each pair of shoe is not only animal friendly, but also designed for maximum comfort, providing soft padding to protect the heel, arch and ankle. The shoes range from 500-700 baht and while designed right here in Chiang Mai, each pair is handmade with love from India!
